Privacy policy

What it stores

• Your account: email address and a hashed password (never the password itself).
• What you enter: body metrics, goals, weight, meals, recipes, ingredients, meal plans and gear.
• From Strava, if you connect it: your athlete id, access tokens, activities (summaries and, for rides, the recorded streams used for power analysis), bikes and shoes, and your clubs' upcoming events.
• From intervals.icu, if you connect it: your athlete id and name, an access token, your activity list and, for features that use them, original activity files (for example for sensor battery levels).
• From Apple Health, if you set up the Shortcut: the weight readings it sends.
• A session cookie that keeps you signed in. There are no other cookies.

How it's used

• To compute your daily targets, meal plans, ride analysis, gear wear and achievements, and to show them to you. Your data isn't visible to other users.
• To email you gear service reminders, if you've set any.
• To write stats, achievements or battery notes into your Strava activity descriptions, only if you turn that on.

Who else sees it

• Infrastructure the app runs on: Fly.io (hosting), Neon (database) and the email provider used to send reminders.
• Food lookups send your search terms or scanned barcodes to the USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts APIs, without anything identifying you.
• Strava and intervals.icu receive the requests needed to read your data (and, if you opted in, to update Strava descriptions).

Nothing is shared with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

Your choices

• Disconnect Strava or intervals.icu from your profile at any time. Disconnecting intervals.icu also revokes the app's access on their side; for Strava you can also revoke it in Strava's settings.
• Download your weight, meal log, recipes and ingredients as CSV from your profile.
• To have your account and everything stored about you deleted, ask using the contact below; it's done within 30 days.
